the Midwest region
The Midwest Region is made up 12 different states: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. These state are known as the Great Plain States. Through out the hole Midwest, Illinois is the most popular state. As of 2012 the Midwest population is 65,377,684 people. The split the Midwest in to two groups. The first group is the Great Lake States which contains Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The second group is the Great Plain States which contain the states Iowa, Kansas, Missiouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
